- Summary: Orlando Gough was a founder member of the bands The Lost Jockey and Man Jumping. Work includes Hotel, a pair of libretto with Caryl Churchill, When we stop talking, a dance piece choreographed by Ashley Page for The Royal Ballet, Message from the Border, a CD (BMG Catalyst), The Wisdom of Crocodiles (Music from the film) and Fortune Cookies for The Gogmagogs, with lyrics by Caryl Churchill. He is one half of the band The Galileo Brothers, whose CD The Dancing Lawn is available on the Shaping the Invisible label. With Richard Chew he recently formed the eighteen piece choir The Shout with whom he has written a number of pieces, including High Hopes and Why do you Sing?. Together he and Richard Chew have written three outdoor choral pieces, The Shouting Fence, Corona and Journey to the North. He has written pieces for the Viol Consort Fretwork, The Royal Ballet, the choreographer Shobana Jeyasingh, Artangel, a piece with twenty choirs at The Roundhouse with The Shout and the choreographer Alain Platel, and the Children's Opera Brown Bread with a libretto by Stephen Plaice.
